Location: Redmond, United States (within 50-mile commute; expected to work from office at least 4 days per week)

Salary: USD $119,800 – $234,700 per year (USD $158,400 – $258,000 in San Francisco Bay area and New York City)

What you will do

• Act as privacy advisor to engineering teams on consents, data collection, storage, processing, and compliance.
• Translate privacy regulations and standards into actionable engineering requirements.
• Create and execute privacy compliance plans across compliance, business, and engineering teams.
• Identify, adopt, and monitor new controls for compliance and regulations.
• Develop standards, policies, risk assessments, audit frameworks, and reporting metrics.
• Educate teams and drive privacy/compliance mindset with process and tooling improvements.

Requirements

• Bachelor’s Degree AND 5+ years experience in product/service/program management or software development (OR equivalent)
• Experience applying privacy requirements to engineering solutions beyond basic risk/compliance.
• Passion for customer needs, rights protection, and business enablement.

Nice to have

• Bachelor’s Degree AND 8+ years experience in product/service/program management or software development (OR equivalent).
• 3+ years technical/feature program management.
• Experience creating compliance programs and conducting privacy reviews.
• Team/project management in medium-large projects (scope, schedule, budget).
• Managing privacy/security/audit compliance engineering programs.
• IAPP Certified Information Privacy Professional (CIPP).
