San Francisco, CA or New York City, NY. Location-based hybrid policy: expect to be in one of our offices at least 25% of the time. Visa sponsorship available, but not guaranteed for every role and candidate.

Annual Salary: $305,000 - $460,000 USD

What you will do

• Co-develop vision and own strategy/execution for AI-native learning products including adaptive systems, assessments, and in-product experiences.
• Collaborate with research teams to translate emerging capabilities into learner-focused products and anticipate shifts in model abilities.
• Prototype and experiment quickly using Claude and internal tools; conduct user research to validate and iterate on ideas.
• Define success metrics based on demonstrated understanding, skill progression, and lasting agency.
• Bridge research, product, GTM, marketing, comms, and education teams; drive stakeholder alignment and operational rhythm to ship work.
• Shape team strategy, push thinking on AI-accelerated education, and support adjacent efforts for portfolio coherence.

Requirements

• 5+ years in product management with track record of shipping products from zero to one with real impact.
• Technical fluency with AI tools; comfortable prototyping with Claude and discussing with researchers/engineers.
• Genuine curiosity about frontier AI; follow emerging capabilities and have informed opinions.
• Comfort with ambiguity, wide scope, and incomplete information; force multiplier on small teams.
• Strong written/verbal communication for specs, leadership presentations, and stakeholder synthesis.
• Conviction that education builds agency, not dependency, with AI.

Nice to have

• Experience with research/applied science teams or background in research-to-product translation.
• Background in learning products, developer education, or curriculum design.
• Founder experience or early-stage company with wide scope.
• Familiarity with learning science, instructional design, or teaching experience.
• Experience building with LLMs as core infrastructure.
