Salary: $122,400 - $183,600 USD

What you will do

• Analyze requirements and collaborate with systems, security, human factors, electrical, and project teams to improve patient experience.
• Own design, development, testing, and maintenance of embedded software modules through full Software Development Lifecycle.
• Plan and execute using agile-scrum methodologies and DevOps/continuous integration environments.
• Collaborate with globally distributed embedded software developers to deliver high-quality modules.
• Troubleshoot, debug, and support existing systems while ensuring compliance with regulations like 62304 and 60601-1.
• Drive embedded software/hardware architecture and strategic planning for emerging technologies.

Requirements

• Bachelor’s degree in technical discipline with minimum 4 years of relevant software and embedded software experience, or advanced degree with 2 years.
• Unrestricted U.S. work authorization required (no sponsorship for this level)
• Must meet physical demands for office role including mobility and computer interaction

Nice to have

• Expert in C for embedded systems, some Java experience.
• RTOS skills (Azure RTOS/ThreadX), USB CDC/MSC, security (TLS 1.3, x509, encryption), ARM v8m, Bluetooth/RF.
• Unit testing, TDD, hardware integration with debugging tools (oscilloscopes, logic analyzers).
• Regulatory compliance experience in highly regulated environments.
• Systems thinking, agile/DevOps proficiency.
