What you will do

• Lead development of software using ARINC 615 and ARINC 615A data loading standards
• Design and implement secure data loaders and communication protocols
• Integrate software with avionics systems, networks, and aircraft maintenance environments
• Ensure compliance with ITAR/EAR and internal security processes
• Collaborate with systems engineers, hardware teams, and certification specialists
• Mentor engineers, contribute to architecture, code reviews, verification, and documentation

Requirements

• U.S. Person under ITAR (citizen or permanent resident)
• Bachelor’s or Master’s in Computer Science, Software Engineering, Electrical Engineering, or similar
• 7+ years of professional software engineering experience in aerospace or avionics systems
• Hands-on expertise with ARINC 615/615A, avionics data loaders, and aircraft data interfaces
• Proficiency in C, C++, C#, or Python
• Experience with secure communication protocols (TLS, CMS/PKI, or aerospace-specific)
• Knowledge of avionics networks (A429, A664/AFDX, Ethernet-based systems)
• Experience with DO-178C, DO-326A/ED-202A, or similar standards; CI/CD, automated testing, DevOps
