Director of Financial Data & Reporting (AI Finance): Architect and implement financial reporting processes from the ground up with an accent on accuracy, compliance, data integrity, and AI automation. Location: Onsite in NYC office 5 days a week. Applicants must be eligible to work in the US. Willingness to travel up to 10%.

What you will do

• Architect and implement financial reporting processes, establishing standards for accuracy, compliance, and data integrity.
• Contribute to quarterly and annual financial statements, ensuring they are complete, timely, and audit-ready.
• Work with auditors and implement proper internal controls.
• Drive automation of reporting workflows using AI tools and agentic workflows.
• Build finance-focused executive dashboards for senior leaders.
• Support the company's mission by maintaining a solid financial foundation.

Requirements

• 10+ years in financial data analysis, reporting, and accounting, ideally in high-growth tech or startups.
• Deep hands-on experience with financial modeling and building complex models.
• Proven track record preparing financial statements and owning end-to-end close processes.
• Experience with auditors and building internal controls.
• Command of AI and automation tools with a vision for AI-native finance functions.
• Ability to partner at leadership level and influence decisions cross-functionally.
• Comfort in ambiguous, 0-to-1 environments.
