Experiential Design Internship Summer 2026

TL;DR

Experiential Design Intern (Spatial/Experiential): Support the design and creative teams in developing immersive environments and brand experiences with an accent on concept development, visual presentations, and production preparation. Focus on creating layouts, renderings, mood boards, researching materials, and assisting on-site for installations.

Location: Must work minimum 3 days per week at offices in New York, NY between June 1st, 2026 and August 7th, 2026

What you will do

• Support development of experiential concepts, environments, and spatial design ideas
• Create layouts, renderings, mood boards, references, and design decks for client presentations
• Collaborate with Creative, Strategy, and Production teams
• Prepare design files and assets for production and fabrication
• Research materials, fabrication techniques, and installation methods
• Contribute to brainstorming for brand activations, events, and installations
• Assist on-site for install, styling, or production support
• Maintain organization of project files and design assets

Requirements

• Must be enrolled in a University or Master’s program
• Must be available minimum 3 days per week at New York offices
• Must be available June 1st - August 7th, 2026
• Preferred majors: Environmental Design, Interior Design, Architecture, Industrial Design, or related
• Strong interest in experiential, spatial, and environmental design
• Proficiency in Adobe Creative Suite (Photoshop, Illustrator; InDesign a plus)
• Experience with 3D modeling/rendering tools (Rhino, SketchUp, Cinema 4D, or similar)
• Familiarity with Figma a plus
• Strong visual communication, layout skills, organization, and attention to detail
