What you will do

• Assist with basic computer-aided design tasks such as annotation, red line corrections, and plan publishing.
• Use design software to draft plans and incorporate information from past and ongoing projects into models.
• Perform engineering support work including gathering data, updating and maintaining computer files, preparing drawing copies, and documenting design changes.
• Add basic content to project production sheets (e.g., dimension/layout plans, title sheets, detail sheets).
• Work independently on assigned designs with occasional advice from a supervisor; direct less experienced staff when needed.
• Attend client meetings and handle construction observation as required.

Requirements

• Associate degree in drafting.
• Strong communication skills and ability to work collaboratively in a team.
• Ability to contribute to ownership of work and support community impact.
• Prior drafting experience preferred.
• Knowledge of AutoCAD Civil 3D software preferred.
• Ability to work in varying terrain and weather conditions and on project sites in different construction stages.
