What you will do
- Assist clients in-person or remotely with activating EBT cards, applying for Social Security, and obtaining Maryland ID cards.
- Coordinate transportation for clients to attend medical and other required appointments.
- Conduct orientation sessions on banking, public transportation, and basic needs within Baltimore.
- Maintain accurate service documentation through case-notes and file maintenance.
- Collaborate with the walk-in casework team to provide need-based services to eligible clients.
Requirements
- Fluency in English required; bilingual ability in predominant local languages is a plus.
- Valid driver’s license and reliable vehicle access for regular travel throughout Baltimore preferred.
- Must be available for the full duration from June 8 to September 11, 2026.
- Interest or prior experience in social work, case management, or working with refugees and immigrants.
- Proficiency in Microsoft Office (Word, Excel, Outlook) and web-based applications.
- Ability to work independently in a fast-paced environment.
