TL;DR

AI Solutions Engineer / Architect (Azure M365): Design and build a proprietary corporate-level AI agent on top of Microsoft 365 with an accent on model-agnostic orchestration, shared knowledge base from team interactions, and branded outputs. Focus on integrating Claude API via Microsoft Graph, implementing RAG pipelines with Azure AI Search, and provisioning Azure infrastructure for firm-wide usage across Word, Outlook, PowerPoint, Teams, SharePoint, and Excel.

Location: Remote from anywhere with 1–2 hour daily overlap for check-ins (no fixed timezone)

US-based real estate investment firm running entirely on Microsoft 365 and building proprietary AI infrastructure.

What you will do

• Architect and implement LLM-agnostic orchestration layer connecting Claude API to M365 data via Microsoft Graph
• Provision Azure infrastructure including resource groups, Entra ID SSO, and Azure AI Search for shared knowledge base
• Build interaction logging and indexing pipeline to accumulate firm-specific knowledge from 25 users
• Integrate with Word, Outlook (Phase 1), then PowerPoint, Teams, SharePoint, Excel (Phase 3)
• Develop branded output templates, role-based permissions, search guardrails, and admin controls
• Provide regular check-ins with co-founder and advise on scope/timeline

Requirements

• Fluent English for communication and proactive updates
• 3+ years building on Microsoft Azure (resource provisioning, Entra ID, app registrations, security)
• Hands-on Microsoft Graph API for M365 integrations (Word, Outlook, SharePoint, Teams)
• Experience integrating LLM APIs (Claude/OpenAI) with prompt design, governance, RAG pipelines, vector search
• Model-agnostic architecture design, interaction logging, knowledge base construction
• Independence owning greenfield project with limited client-side tech support

Nice to have

• Background in real estate, finance, or professional services
• Experience with Office Add-ins or Microsoft Power Platform (Power Automate, Copilot Studio)
