TL;DR

Strategic Customer Solutions Architect (Postgres): Supporting enterprise customers in designing, optimizing, and stabilizing high-performance Postgres-based systems at scale with an accent on architecture, performance tuning, security, and migrations. Focus on guiding large-scale database migrations, advising on AI and vector workloads, and influencing product evolution through customer insights.

What you will do

Build and maintain deep technical relationships with enterprise stakeholders and executives
Design account strategies aligning platform capabilities with customer goals
Lead performance tuning, scalability, and reliability optimizations for production systems
Advise on Postgres schema design, indexing, query optimization, and system architecture
Guide large-scale migrations from legacy systems to Postgres architectures
Support security, compliance, AI workloads, and act as customer advocate to product teams

Requirements

10+ years in solutions architecture, database engineering, or related roles
Expert PostgreSQL knowledge including performance tuning, internals, and schema design
Proven experience leading complex database migrations (Oracle, SQL Server, MySQL, etc.)
Strong experience with high-scale, high-availability production systems
Solid understanding of enterprise security, compliance, and governance
Familiarity with AI-native architectures, vector databases (e.g., pgvector)
Background in web/backend development (Python, C#, Node.js)
Experience engaging executives in complex environments and excellent communication skills
