TL;DR

Educational Sales Consultant (Inside Sales, Carson Dellosa): Prospecting territory via calls and email, qualifying inbound leads, and conducting virtual product demonstrations with an accent on communicating value propositions and identifying customer requirements for educational resources. Focus on managing sales pipeline with CRM, building client relationships, persuading purchases, and meeting sales targets while understanding K-12 district buying cycles and market trends.

Location: Hybrid in Raleigh-Durham, NC area office (Monday-Friday in office with option to work from home one day per week). Ability to accommodate various domestic time zones is a plus.

What you will do

  • Prospect territory via calls and email, qualify inbound leads, and communicate Carson Dellosa’s value proposition to new users.
  • Process leads timely, support sales campaigns, and conduct virtual web application product demonstrations using screen share.
  • Manage relationships and sales pipeline using CRM systems, collect and analyze customer data.
  • Build and maintain relationships with potential clients, persuade purchases of educational resources, and meet or exceed sales targets.
  • Communicate and present information about supplemental resources to educators, schools, and customers using active listening to understand needs.
  • Understand district buying cycles, market trends, and competitor landscape.

Requirements

  • BA/BS degree required.
  • 1+ years of sales experience, preferably inside sales.
  • High level of self-motivation, energy, and drive to succeed.
  • Demonstrated ability to communicate, present, and influence credibly and effectively.
  • Experience delivering client-focused solutions based on customer needs.
  • Proven ability to manage multiple projects with strict attention to detail.
  • Excellent verbal (telephone) and written communication skills.
  • Understanding of web applications.

Nice to have

  • K-12 teaching experience or other educational experience.
  • Ability to accommodate various domestic time zones.
