Location: Onsite at Avelon Road Centre, Rainham, Essex, RM13 7DH, United Kingdom

Salary: £31,611 - £33,987 pa

What you will do

  • Plan and deliver engaging, person-centred activities based on individual support plans and interests.
  • Provide respectful personal care support promoting dignity, choice, and independence.
  • Encourage community participation and help build meaningful relationships.
  • Promote skill development, employability, and confidence through tailored learning opportunities.
  • Collaborate with families, carers, and professionals for holistic support.
  • Contribute to service improvement, maintain records, and ensure compliance with safeguarding and health & safety standards.

Requirements

  • Experience supporting adults with learning disabilities in delivering activities and personal care.
  • Ability to work 36 hours per week, Monday to Friday, with flexibility for occasional out-of-hours activities.
  • Strong teamwork skills, including guiding volunteers and colleagues.
  • Knowledge of safeguarding, health & safety, and record-keeping standards.
  • Commitment to promoting independence, dignity, and community inclusion.
