ITS Service Engineer

TL;DR

ITS Service Engineer: Delivery of professional customer-oriented services for test systems including system start-up, operation support, maintenance, calibration, troubleshooting, and repair with an accent on operational efficiency and continuous improvement. Focus on test bed equipment installation, configuration, handling customer requests, and providing feedback to management.

Location: Kawasaki City and Utsunomiya, Japan (onsite nationwide in Japan with overseas business trips required). Must accept employment as local employee in hirify.global Japan.

What you will do

• Deliver services like system start-up, operation support, maintenance, calibration, troubleshooting, and repair.
• Perform test bed equipment installation, configuration, and maintenance.
• Handle customer requests, provide support, and document activities professionally.
• Advance troubleshooting knowledge and provide feedback for product/service optimization.
• Evaluate onsite situations and escalate to Skill Team Leader as needed.

Requirements

• Diploma or Bachelor’s in mechanical engineering, electrical engineering, instrumentation engineering, or related field.
• At least 3 years of relevant experience.
• Good communication in Japanese and English.
• Able to work nationwide in Japan and overseas business trips; driving license required.
• Flexible, able to work under high pressure.
