Product Manager (EdTech)

TL;DR

Product Manager (Wyzant): Overseeing the evolution of the tutor marketplace platform to expand reach and improve user experience with an accent on defining product requirements and specifications for diverse users. Focus on analyzing user data, managing cross-functional teams, and driving impactful feature development to meet learner needs.

Location: Raleigh-Durham, NC area office (Monday-Friday in office, option to work from home one day per week)

What you will do

• Oversee product evolution, prioritize high-impact developments, and guide them to completion
• Deeply understand the platform technically and user base to define requirements and specifications
• Collaborate cross-functionally with engineering, customer success, sales, and marketing to develop and test solutions
• Gather and analyze post-launch user data to inform future decisions
• Provide status reports and recommendations to leadership
• Serve as problem solver and point of contact for internal stakeholders

Requirements

• BA/BS degree in STEM or related field
• 5+ years of experience in product management
• Proven success leading product teams to build the right thing and build it right
• Strong analytical skills for complex problem-solving
• Ability to work effectively with cross-functional teams, especially engineering
• Strong communication skills, motivation, resourcefulness, creativity, and positive attitude
