Salary: $75,000 to $90,000 + benefits

What you will do

• Develop PR strategies and execute tactics to expand presence in tech, education, and consumer media
• Create press releases, pitches, statements, and thought leadership content
• Evaluate and draft nominations for awards highlighting innovations
• Manage media relations: research reporters, build lists, coordinate outreach, and pitch experts
• Drive internal communications projects to inform and engage colleagues
• Identify creative ways to tell IXL's story at the tech-education intersection

Requirements

• BA/BS degree
• 3-6 years in corporate communications, PR, or journalism
• Exceptional writing and storytelling skills across formats (articles, blogs, press materials, etc.)
• Proven media campaigns resulting in coverage, with proactive mindset
• Ability to strategize and execute, multitask, prioritize, and meet deadlines
• Interest in education and technology industries
