Marketing Director (Rosetta Stone): Devising creative multi-channel marketing strategies that drive customer acquisition and retention for language learning products with an accent on brand positioning, pricing, and international expansion. Focus on integrating efforts across brand advertising, digital marketing, product marketing, email, social media, influencer marketing, and leading B2B enterprise strategies for demand generation.

Location: San Mateo, CA headquarters office (Monday-Friday in office with option to work from home one day per week)

Salary: $200,000–$250,000 + benefits

What you will do

  • Develop marketing strategies with executive leadership to achieve customer acquisition goals and position Rosetta Stone as market leader
  • Refine brand narrative and positioning for broad consumer appeal
  • Oversee integration of marketing across channels including brand advertising, digital, product, email, social media, influencer, affiliate, PR, and SEO
  • Own pricing and promotion strategies, testing and optimizing for cohesion
  • Lead go-to-market planning for product launches and coordinate communications
  • Implement localized strategies for key international markets
  • Manage and mentor marketing team with opportunity to expand headcount
  • Lead B2B marketing for Rosetta Stone Enterprise, focusing on messaging, lead generation, and nurture

Requirements

  • BA/BS degree
  • 12+ years consumer brand or integrated marketing experience, including leading overarching strategy
  • 5+ years people management, including managing managers
  • Strategic thinking to build plans aligning with company goals, values, and resources
  • Exceptional written communication and editing skills
  • Self-starter able to manage complex cross-functional projects
  • Excellent verbal communication and interpersonal skills
  • Effective coaching and team management

Nice to have

  • B2B or enterprise marketing experience
