Marketing Associate, Teachers Pay Teachers (TPT) (Edtech)

TL;DR

Marketing Associate (TPT): Support TPT’s Seller community through promotions, events, communications, and feedback management with an accent on seller growth and engagement programs. Focus on operationalizing promotions, coordinating events, writing updates, and analyzing community data.

Location: Hybrid in San Mateo, CA headquarters office (Monday-Friday in office, one day WFH per week)

Salary: $71,000 to $80,000 + benefits

What you will do

• Identify and operationalize Seller promotions, researching resources and community members for marketing activations
• Manage logistics of special Seller programs, coordinating internal teams, external vendors, virtual and in-person events
• Write marketing and communications copy collaborating across teams
• Collect, organize, QA, analyze community data, insights, and feedback, sharing takeaways
• Write community updates and communicate with Sellers about programs and events
• Partner with Customer Support and Marketing to troubleshoot community issues

Requirements

• BA/BS degree and 2+ years of marketing and/or communications experience
• Self-starter: detail-oriented, organized, resourceful, analytical, managing projects and multiple deadlines
• Strong writer with empathy, able to adjust tone for different audiences
• Team player with excellent interpersonal skills, working effectively at all levels
• Knowledge of or interest in education and edtech, commitment to ongoing learning
• Experience with Google Docs, Sheets, and Slides
