What you will do

• Apply ASC 606 and company revenue recognition policies to IXL School Revenue contracts
• Analyze complex revenue issues and provide guidance to sales and other departments
• Implement and maintain revenue policies in subscription database and perform revenue testing
• Prepare journal entries, reconciliations, financial statements, and management reports
• Collaborate with sales, AR, and external auditors on compliance and internal controls
• Participate in ad hoc projects like M&A due diligence

Requirements

• Bachelor's degree in accounting or finance
• CPA certification preferred; Big 4 CPA experience preferred
• 5+ years in revenue accounting, focused on software/technology industries
• Strong knowledge of GAAP revenue recognition, including complex arrangements
• Excellent analytical, organizational, and communication skills
• Proficiency with Microsoft Excel and accounting software
