Location: Toronto, Ontario, Canada office (Monday-Friday with option to work from home one day per week)

Salary: $164,000 to $212,000 CAD

What you will do

• Manage and build a high-performance team of engineers
• Guide and mentor engineers and project leads for work satisfaction, technical advancement, and career progress
• Communicate company initiatives, mission, goals, and values to team members
• Collaborate with product managers, designers, and QA to maintain and exceed product usability and quality standards

Requirements

• At least 7 years of direct software engineering experience and 2 years of engineering management
• Bachelor's or advanced degree in computer science or related discipline
• Excellent programming skills in Java or another object-oriented language
• Strong communication, leadership, analytical reasoning, problem-solving, organization, and time management skills
• Passion for improving education through technology
