Salary range: $110,000 - $240,000

What you will do

• Design and develop radar signal processing algorithms for target detection, tracking, and classification
• Lead development of new radar capabilities and modes with minimal guidance
• Optimize algorithms for real-time performance and implement in software (C++, Python, MATLAB) or hardware (FPGAs, DSPs)
• Analyze radar data, develop system simulations and models for performance evaluation
• Plan and lead field tests, data collection, and contribute to system requirements
• Document findings, present to leadership, and mentor junior engineers

Requirements

• Bachelor’s degree in STEM or equivalent
• 3+ years of experience with radar systems
• Deep understanding of radar principles, modes, signal processing techniques, and algorithms
• Strong familiarity with Python or MATLAB; systems engineering with RF systems
• Expertise in digital signal processing (modulation, filtering, detection), algorithm development, and data analysis
• Excellent problem-solving skills; ability to work independently and in teams

Nice to have

• Graduate degree in STEM or equivalent
• Expertise in radar waveform design, matched filtering, Doppler processing, clutter rejection
• Strong foundation in Systems Engineering V-model
• Experience with C++
