Salary: £250k – £300k base + performance-based bonus (cash & equity)

What you will do

• Lead legal and regulatory agenda for global HFT operations.
• Partner directly with founders and C-suite to shape strategy during international expansion.
• Drive engagement with regulators and advise on financial markets, derivatives, and securities law.
• Build and lead a world-class legal function matching rapid scaling.

Requirements

• 10+ years’ PQE, ideally qualified in common law jurisdiction
• Prior experience as CLO or General Counsel in trading, financial services, or digital assets
• Deep understanding of capital markets, international structuring, and regulated activities
• Resourceful, decisive, natural communicator valuing integrity, directness, transparency
• Europe-based with relocation or 50% travel commitment
