Salary: $110,000 - $160,000

What you will do
- Develop factory production models, optimal line layouts, station balancing, takt time, labor modeling, and equipment strategies for radar subsystems and integration.
- Lead DFMA reviews, quantify cost/labor/cycle impacts, simplify RF modules, assemblies, harnesses, thermal schemes, and influence materials/processes for scalability.
- Build rate ramp models, capacity plans, scenario modeling for demand/supplier/yield variations, and provide data-driven projections.
- Conduct cost modeling, make-vs-buy analysis, identify cost drivers, support value engineering, and close Manufacturing Readiness Level gaps.
- Track KPIs like yield, cycle time, throughput, OEE; drive Lean initiatives, error-proofing, automation, and MES/PLM/ERP integration.
Requirements
- U.S. Citizenship and ability to obtain/maintain DoD clearance
- Bachelor’s in Industrial, Mechanical, Manufacturing Engineering or related STEM.
- 3–7+ years in aerospace, defense, automotive, or complex electromechanical production.
- Experience in production rate modeling, capacity planning, factory flow optimization, DFMA implementation, labor/cost models, hardware transition to production.
Nice to have
- Radar systems, RF hardware, complex electronic assemblies, integration/test operations.
- RF troubleshooting, PCBA, harness/connector practices, thermal/structural assembly.
- IPC certification, SOLIDWORKS/CAD, LRIP/rate ramp, MES/PLM/ERP, MRL assessments.
