What you will do

• Scope, plan, and execute modeling and simulation studies aligned to program objectives using tools like AFSIM, ESAMS, Brawler, or Ansys STK.
• Develop and analyze models of sensors, communications, aircraft, weapons, and spacecraft in high-fidelity simulation frameworks.
• Apply statistical techniques to simulation data to quantify performance metrics, identify trends, and characterize system effectiveness.
• Build Python-based tools and pipelines for data processing, analysis, and visualization.
• Document findings in reports and briefings, presenting to technical teams, leadership, and customers.
• Collaborate with engineering, business development, and customer teams to address operational questions.

Requirements

• Bachelor's or higher in Computer Science, Aerospace/Software/Computer Engineering, Data Science, Statistics, Mathematics, Operations Research, Physics, or related
• 5+ years experience supporting defense, intelligence, or advanced technology programs
• Strong proficiency in Python and MATLAB with libraries like Pandas, NumPy, SciPy, Scikit-Learn, Matplotlib
• Experience with rigid body/6DoF physics simulations
• Eligibility to obtain Top Secret / Sensitive Compartmented Information (TS/SCI) clearance
• Proficiency in data visualization, software development practices, Linux, and independent work

Nice to have

• Operations analysis with combat simulations like AFSIM, radar sensor performance, mission-level engagements
• Modeling sensors, aircraft, weapons, or spacecraft in AFSIM or Ansys STK
• DIS networking, VR-Forces, PX4, X-Plane, Gazebo
• Experience with DoD, DARPA, ONR, AFRL
• Active TS/SCI clearance
