Process Technician

TL;DR

Process Technician (Microelectronics): Provide technical support for electrical and optical testing processes in clean room assembly of silicon and III-V wafer products with an accent on testing equipment operation, process control, and problem analysis. Focus on developing new testing processes, automating controls, training production staff, and implementing Six Sigma methodologies.

Location: Vaudreuil-Dorion, Quebec, Canada (onsite)

What you will do

• Maintain clean, orderly, and safe clean room environment.
• Support electrical and optical testing for wafers, chips, pre-sealing, and post-assembly using probers, custom jigs, SQL databases, LabVIEW, and VB.NET.
• Analyze processes affecting test performance and implement SPC for automatic control.
• Document processes, test criteria, and train production staff.
• Participate in process development, qualification, equipment selection, and issue resolution using Six Sigma.
• Report activities via MINT and comply with quality policies.

Requirements

• Fluency in French (spoken and written) required.
• College diploma (DEC) in physical engineering, microelectronics, or equivalent.
• Minimum 5 years experience in electronics or photodiode testing.
• Knowledge of electronics/electrical testing and microelectronic manufacturing processes.
• Ability to conduct experiments, analyze results, and work collaboratively with high responsibility.
• Organizational skills and team work.

Nice to have

• Knowledge of Six Sigma (Green Belt) and statistical process control.
