What you will do

• Interpret engineering drawings, BOMs, and schematics to assemble complex mechanical and electromechanical systems.
• Cut, bend, and install stainless steel tubing, valves, regulators, and vacuum components.
• Perform pressure testing, helium leak checking, and alignment of precision hardware.
• Support electrical assembly tasks including cable routing and connector installation.
• Document production logs, work orders, and inspection records accurately.
• Contribute to improvements in assembly methods, tooling, and work instructions.

Requirements

• Post-secondary technical diploma or equivalent combination of education and experience.
• 4+ years of hands-on experience assembling complex mechanical or electromechanical systems.
• Proficiency with tubing, fittings, manifolds, gas, vacuum, or pressure systems.
• Ability to read and follow engineering drawings, BOMs, and multi-level schematics.
• Physical ability to lift and move objects up to 50 lbs and work with assemblies for extended periods.
• Strong attention to detail and ability to work with minimal supervision.

Nice to have

• Swagelok or similar compression fitting experience.
• High-vacuum leak checking, pressure testing, or cryogenic assembly experience.
• Experience in a startup, R&D, or low-volume, high-complexity production environment.
