What you will do

• Define and evolve design system strategy, visual language, interaction patterns, and component architecture
• Build scalable, reusable design foundations supporting web, iOS, and Android
• Establish governance, workflows, documentation, and version control for system scalability
• Drive adoption across product and engineering teams with consistent usage
• Partner with engineering on design-to-code handoffs and implementation
• Lead creation of new patterns, measure impact on quality and velocity, and ensure accessibility

Requirements

• 8–10 years in product or system design, including leadership on large-scale design systems
• Proven experience building design system from 0–1 or major overhaul in high-growth tech
• Strong portfolio of visual craft and scalable systems thinking
• Experience across web, iOS, Android platforms
• Deep knowledge of WCAG accessibility and inclusive design
• Technical fluency in front-end, design-to-code, modern tools; collaboration with engineering
• Ability to navigate ambiguity, prioritize, influence stakeholders
