What you will do

• Define and lead evolution of Primer design system into AI-compatible platform for humans and agents.
• Eliminate redundancy, reduce complexity, and build opinionated primitives, patterns, and guardrails.
• Partner with engineering for seamless design-to-code integration into developer workflows.
• Establish standards for consistency, accessibility, and usability across hirify.global experiences.
• Drive cross-functional alignment with design, engineering, product, and marketing for system adoption and impact.
• Lead and scale multidisciplinary team of designers, accessibility experts, and engineers.

Requirements

• 12+ years in product, platform, or systems development (or equivalent with degree: Bachelor's +10y, Master's +8y, Doctorate +6y)
• 6+ years leading multidisciplinary design and engineering teams, including managing managers
• Proven experience building or leading design-to-code systems or platforms bridging design and engineering

Nice to have

• Experience simplifying complex systems and making them more opinionated and scalable
• Track record driving cross-functional alignment across design, engineering, and product
• Experience with AI-assisted or generative UI workflows
• Working on developer tools or technical platforms
• Scaling system adoption in large organizations
