What You'll Do

• Own web design end to end: marketing pages, landing pages, product marketing surfaces, and interactive experiences
• Build and maintain a scalable web design system including layout patterns, component libraries, motion language, and brand guidelines
• Lead web redesigns and overhauls from concept through production partnering with engineering and growth
• Use LLMs like Claude to explore layouts, generate copy variations, and prototype interactions before Figma
• Set visual standards for typography, spacing, color, motion across all surfaces
• Collaborate with brand, product, and growth teams to ensure coherent web and product experiences
• Share systems, patterns, and prompts to raise craft quality organization-wide

Requirements

• 7+ years of web design experience with at least one full site overhaul or design system build owned as IC
• Active use of LLMs (Claude, Cursor, etc.) and Figma or Paper
• Portfolio showing range: web systems, brand, landing pages, interactive storytelling
• Deep typographic and layout sensibility with opinions on grids, whitespace, hierarchy
• Experience working directly with front-end engineers
• Ability to move fast without sacrificing craft
• Deep understanding of brand systems and identities

Nice to Have

• Front-end fluency to build designs when needed
• Motion design skills (Framer Motion, CSS animations, After Effects)
• Experience with conversion optimization and growth experiments
• Background at a company known for web craft
