Digital Strategist

TL;DR

Digital Strategist (Digital Marketing): Advising prospective and existing clients on website design and online marketing strategies including SEO, Google Ads, social media, and email marketing with an accent on upselling, proposal development, and project hand-off. Focus on creating detailed scopes of work, maintaining industry awareness, and overseeing client implementation.

Location: 100% remote worldwide, must work 40 hours/week from 9:00 am to 6:00 pm PST. Reliable workstation and internet required.

Salary: $17–$35 per hour (California, New York, Washington, Colorado); may vary outside these states based on location and experience.

What you will do

• Follow up with prospective clients professionally and direct them to optimal solutions as an advisor.
• Upsell accounts by recommending website and marketing strategies.
• Develop proposals, prepare contracts, and create detailed scopes of work.
• Oversee client hand-off from sales to production teams and project managers.
• Provide timely responses to client requests and attend sales meetings.
• Track updates using company sales forecast programs.

Requirements

• Online marketing experience: SEO/Google Ads (preferred), Social Media Marketing, Email Marketing
• Experience with WordPress, WooCommerce, Shopify, and/or BigCommerce
• Familiarity with HTML/CSS (beneficial)
• Familiarity with AIs/LLMs (ChatGPT, Gemini, Copilot, Perplexity)
• Excellent organizational, time management, and multitasking skills
• Advanced Microsoft Office/Google Apps; availability for 40h/week PST hours
• Strong writing/speaking skills to explain technical info to non-technical audiences
