TL;DR

Web Designer: Designing unique client-specific logos, brand guides, design systems, wireframes, website mockups, and graphics for desktop and mobile with an accent on usability, performance tradeoffs, and client goals. Focus on collaborating with producers, copywriters, SEO, and developers, preparing developer hand-offs, and delivering under tight deadlines.

Location: 100% remote from anywhere worldwide; must work 9:00 am to 6:00 pm PST, Monday to Friday. US-based: local insurance; international: health insurance reimbursement.

Salary: $17 - $35 per hour (CA, NY, WA, CO; may vary outside).

What you will do

• Design logos, brand guides, and design systems from scratch.
• Create wireframes, mockups, and graphics for desktop and mobile based on briefs.
• Draw vector icons and illustrations.
• Participate in client meetings and plan designs with digital producers.
• Collaborate with copywriters, SEO team, and developers on project vision and tradeoffs.
• Prepare and hand off design files to developers.
• Ensure projects meet schedules, methodology, and quality standards.

Requirements

• Mastery of Figma, Adobe Photoshop, and Adobe Illustrator.
• Experience with Adobe After Effects or Adobe Premiere Pro.
• Knowledge of HTML, CSS, and web development constraints (preferred).
• Strong understanding of design fundamentals and passion for design.
• Familiarity with web accessibility requirements.
• Awesome portfolio with website (e-commerce preferred) and web app dashboard designs.
• Excellent written and spoken English.
• Reliable workstation, fast computer, mic/speakers, stable internet/power.
• Ability to present to clients and perform under pressure/short deadlines.
