Location: 100% remote worldwide, core 4-hour overlap 10am-2pm Eastern Time.

Salary: $126K–$158K base + $50K equity + profit sharing

What you will do

• Dive into codebase, set up environment, and ship first production code in first week while meeting distributed team.
• Ramp up on products and systems in first month, deliver meaningful features, participate in planning, building, and code reviews.
• Own complex features from concept to launch over first six months, refactor codebase, handle on-call, present Lunch & Learn, and improve processes.

Requirements

• Core hours: 10am-2pm Eastern overlap for collaboration.
• Strong React, JavaScript, Tailwind for performant web apps; Rails or similar backend proficiency.
• Scope ambitious designs into iterative MVPs, ship incrementally with Product and Design.
• Use AI tools like Cursor, Claude for development acceleration.
• Plan/estimate/execute complex projects independently; write high-quality, tested, accessible code.
• Excellent communication for cross-team alignment; experience with large-scale data, legacy code evolution.

Nice to have

• Machine learning, recommendation systems, personalization.
• OLAP like ClickHouse; commerce, ads, marketplace systems.
