Salary: $180,000–$192,000 (Level 4, midpoint $186,000) + $50K equity + profit sharing

What you will do

• Dive into codebase, set up environment, and ship first production code in the first week.
• Understand publishing tools end-to-end, contribute to planning, building, and measuring creator experiences while participating in code reviews.
• Lead and architect major features from idea to launch, refactor legacy code for scalability, drive technical patterns, handle on-call, mentor peers, and present Lunch & Learns.

Requirements

• Deep expertise in React, JavaScript, modern CSS (Tailwind) for complex web apps with beautiful UX.
• Strong fullstack skills, Ruby on Rails preferred (or other backend with willingness to learn).
• Ability to architect scalable, accessible systems with frontend testing; plan and execute ambiguous projects independently.
• Experience partnering with Product/Design, leading projects with ownership, working on legacy code, and mentoring.
• High agency, adaptability, clear communication, growth mindset, and strong interest in AI.

Nice to have

• Rich text editors (SlateJS/ProseMirror), email-safe HTML/CSS, user-facing AI features.
• Frontend bundling tools, creator economy/publishing background.
