Senior Cloud Architect (ML/AI): Lead the design and implementation of production-grade ML and Generative AI solutions on AWS with an accent on secure, reliable, cost-efficient, and observable architectures. Location: Remote from the US, Colombia, Mexico, Canada, the UK, Ireland, Estonia, Sweden, the Netherlands, or Israel. Also open to contractors in Eastern Europe or Portugal.

What you will do

• Lead discovery, architecture, and implementation for advanced ML and Generative AI workloads on AWS, including data, training, inference, and integration.
• Act as hands-on expert and trusted advisor for customers running AI/ML at scale, from discovery to deployment and optimization.
• Provide opinionated guidance on GenAI architectures like Amazon Bedrock, SageMaker, and Amazon Q, integrating with customer systems.
• Recommend and implement AI/ML capabilities in hirify.global Cloud Intelligence to drive product adoption and measure business impact.
• Capture repeatable AI/ML patterns, reference architectures, and runbooks; contribute to internal enablement and practice building.
• Collaborate with Sales, Customer Success, Product, and cloud partners to align AI/ML work with company priorities.

Requirements

• 4+ years architecting, deploying, managing cloud-based AI/ML solutions, including production workloads on AWS.
• Advanced proficiency with AWS AI/ML services: Bedrock, SageMaker (Pipelines, JumpStart, Model Monitor), Amazon Q; prompt engineering, model evaluation.
• Experience with TensorFlow, PyTorch, distributed training, data engineering (S3, Glue, Lake Formation, Redshift), end-to-end workflows (Lambda, Step Functions, EKS/Fargate).
• CI/CD for AI/ML, monitoring (CloudWatch), AI governance, security, compliance, bias mitigation.
• Working knowledge of Google Cloud AI tools; ability to mentor, communicate across audiences, work in remote-first global environment.
• Understand metrics/objectives for Field Engineering or FDE Delivery function and region; report progress transparently.

Nice to have

• BA/BS in CS/Math or equivalent; data/AI certifications (AWS/GCP, Stanford/Coursera/etc.).
• RLHF, advanced fine-tuning, Hugging Face; prior ML Engineer/Data Scientist/AI Architect experience.
• JIRA/Agile experience.
