Factory Quality Engineer

What you will do

• Implement and maintain quality assurance processes to meet specifications and standards.
• Identify process improvements to enhance efficiency, reduce defects, and improve quality.
• Develop strategies for cost reduction through material optimization and waste minimization.
• Manage supplier quality with the contract manufacturer and conduct regular audits.
• Perform root cause analysis, implement corrective actions, and maintain documentation.
• Train CM team, collaborate with internal teams, and report on quality and improvements.

Requirements

• Bachelor's degree in Engineering, Quality Management, or related field.
• Minimum 5 years in quality engineering, preferably battery energy storage or related.
• Strong analytical skills, attention to detail, process improvement track record.
• Familiarity with quality methodologies, lean principles, industry regulations.
• Excellent communication for cross-functional collaboration.

Nice to have

• Experience with contract manufacturers.
• Knowledge of battery energy storage systems and enclosure fabrication.
• Certification in Six Sigma or Lean Manufacturing.
• Experience with ISO 9001 or other quality systems.
