Senior Overhead Transmission Line Structural Engineer (Transmission): Support design engineering and analysis on transmission scopes with an accent on large 345kV+ rebuild and greenfield projects including HVDC and 765kV technologies. What you will do

• Provide guidance on design guides, standards, engineering codes, and B&V policies; develop and update engineering standards.
• Prepare complex engineering deliverables, perform research, and develop recommendations for equipment/materials selection on multiple or mega projects.
• Perform complex engineering calculations, manage budget/schedule/quality, and apply advanced solutions to complex problems.
• Lead production teams, coordinate multi-discipline activities, establish work plans, and review lower-level engineering work.
• Coordinate with internal/external teams, identify client interests/drivers, and support business development.
• Serve as technical specialist, mentor professionals, and oversee performance management and career development.

Requirements

• Bachelor's degree in engineering from accredited program.
• Minimum 11 years related work experience.
• Complete pre-employment onboarding: background check, drug screen, motor vehicle records search.
• US-based; no visa sponsorship.

Nice to have

• Strong experience in 69kV-500kV overhead transmission line design and PLS/PLS-CADD/PLS-POLE.
• Advanced knowledge of design principles, guides, and standards.
• Client interaction and relationship-building experience.
• Utility-scale electrical transmission systems design.
• Structural design of transmission steel structures and foundations.
• Basic structural steel/concrete experience with 3D analysis software.
