TL;DR

Pricing Strategy Director (SaaS): Own and drive end-to-end monetization strategy including packaging, pricing models, and consumption-based billing with an accent on aligning with business objectives and executing cross-functional initiatives. Location: Based in San Francisco office with office-centric hybrid schedule (Mon, Tue, Thu in-office). Open to other offices (e.g., NYC, Vancouver).

Salary: $210,000 - $279,000 base (plus equity and benefits).

What you will do

  • Own monetization strategy: packaging, pricing models, price levels, discounts, and consumption-based billing infrastructure.
  • Lead customer, product, competitor, and financial analyses to inform enterprise-wide pricing decisions.
  • Define near-term and long-term strategies, driving executive alignment across Product, Sales, Finance, and Operations.
  • Execute cross-functional workstreams for seamless implementation of pricing initiatives.
  • Establish pricing KPIs, monitor performance, and provide insights to senior leadership and Board.
  • Act as strategic advisor on monetization trends, including AI pricing.

Requirements

  • 8+ years pricing experience in strategy consulting/B2B software, 5+ years leadership in enterprise SaaS.
  • Proven track record driving revenue impact via enterprise pricing strategies.
  • Exceptional analytical skills: customer/competitor research, financial modeling.
  • Deep SaaS pricing expertise: self-serve/sales-led GTM, customer behaviors across segments.
  • Executive influence without authority; strong presentation to C-suite/Board.
  • Expertise in pricing research (Conjoint, Van Westendorp), tools like Qualtrics.
