TL;DR

Manager of Global Mobility & Immigration: Own the end-to-end vision, strategy, and execution of immigration and relocation support initiatives with an accent on compliance, team scaling, and employee concierge experience. Location: Based in Menlo Park, CA; New York, NY; or Chicago, IL office, with in-person attendance expected at least 4 days per week.

Base Pay Range: Zone 1 (Menlo Park, CA; New York, NY; Bellevue, WA; Washington, DC) $153,000 - $180,000 USD; Zone 2 (Denver, CO; Westlake, TX; Chicago, IL) $134,000 - $158,000 USD; Zone 3 (Lake Mary, FL; Clearwater, FL; Gainesville, FL) $119,000 - $140,000 USD

What you will do

  • Manage all aspects of US immigration and global mobility support for employees.
  • Empower and scale a high-performing Global Mobility team with focus on mentorship and operational excellence.
  • Ensure compliance with company policies and governmental regulations via internal and external partners.
  • Build partnerships with People, Talent Acquisition, Legal, Finance, Accounting, and Tax teams to manage programs.
  • Create scalable systems for expanding locations, complexity, and needs in collaboration with HR Operations.
  • Benchmark policies, gather feedback, and recommend improvements in workflows, tools, budgets, and compliance.

Requirements

  • 7+ years of immigration and mobility experience in fast-paced environments; mix of law firm and in-house.
  • 3+ years of people management experience.
  • Expertise in U.S. immigration policy and its evolution.
  • Experience supporting cross-border talent movement and policy compliance.
  • Previous partnerships with external immigration and relocation providers.
  • Project management with visa/work permit transfers and green card sponsorship.
  • Strong relationship-building skills and empathy for diverse employee needs.
