TL;DR

Principal Product Operations Manager (Benefits): Stand up operational and service foundation for new hirify.global Benefits product using customer feedback, metrics, and AI tools with an accent on product lifecycle integration and cross-functional collaboration. Focus on shaping product development, leading launches, driving data-informed strategies, and building AI-assisted workflows for insight synthesis and service prototyping.

Location: Denver, CO; San Francisco, CA; New York, NY. Hybrid: 2-3 days/week in office (or more depending on role)

Salary: $148,000–$182,000/yr (Denver); $167,000–$217,000/yr (San Francisco & New York)

What you will do

  • Shape product development and integrate into service strategy across lifecycle with Engineering, Design, Product, and CX teams.
  • Deeply understand product/service experience, pain points, and feedback; ensure CX considerations in company decisions.
  • Lead product launches between Product and CX; deliver post-launch insights for positive experiences.
  • Provide business insights from quantitative/qualitative data to influence product/service roadmaps.
  • Drive cross-functional initiatives, develop service enhancement roadmaps.
  • Hypothesis-driven problem solving; advance Product Operations with AI fluency and workflows.

Requirements

  • 10+ years in operating roles (biz ops/strategy, product operations, project/program management, consulting) at growing startups
  • Experience scaling service strategy with growing SaaS products, incubating products, managing betas, integrating into scalable service models.
  • Highly adaptable, resilient, self-starter, organized problem-solver with bias for action.
  • Managing cross-functional stakeholders on complex initiatives, influencing senior leaders.
  • Strong data literacy, results-orientation, using AI tools for analysis/synthesis.
  • Excellent communication for technical/non-technical audiences.
  • Demonstrated AI fluency in operations/product context for data synthesis, automation, agents.

Nice to have

  • Experience prototyping with AI (Claude, Cursor, Codex).
  • Service design/service blueprinting.
  • Healthcare/benefits space (PEO, health insurance) or regulated new product incubation.
