TL;DR

Head of Investor Relations (Finance): Partner closely with the Chief Strategy and Investor Relations Director to shape and communicate a clear, compelling investment story for the Group with an accent on building trusted relationships with investors and analysts, managing market expectations. Focus on developing the equity narrative, delivering results communications, and relaying market feedback to inform decision making.

What you will do

  • Communicate the Group’s strategy, performance and investment case clearly and consistently to investors and analysts
  • Develop, assess and evolve the equity narrative and manage market expectations through clear guidance
  • Deliver effective full year, half year and quarterly results communications and materials
  • Prepare senior leaders for investor interactions including roadshows, conferences and Q&A sessions
  • Build and maintain strong relationships with shareholders, analysts and sales teams
  • Lead investor targeting analysis and proactive engagement to diversify the investor base
  • Relay market feedback and sentiment to the Board and senior management
  • Lead and develop the Investor Relations team

Requirements

  • Significant experience in investor relations, capital markets or a closely related field
  • Proven ability to communicate complex strategy and performance to senior audiences
  • Strong commercial judgement with ability to challenge and influence at Board level
  • Excellent written and verbal communication skills, including presentation capability
  • Experience building and managing relationships with investors, analysts and advisers
  • Ability to operate at pace and synthesise detailed information for different audiences
  • Experience leading, developing and motivating high-performing teams
  • Professional qualification such as actuarial, accountancy or CFA, or equivalent experience
