TL;DR

Operational Oversight Manager (Fintech): Ensure robust systems, controls and governance for the Trustee Oversight function with an accent on managing risks, regulatory compliance, and SIPP administration processes. Focus on leading the team, conducting root cause analysis of exceptions, monitoring regulatory changes, and driving continuous process improvements.

Location: Hybrid in Manchester with a minimum of 50% of working time in the office. Initial full-time office for new starters.

What you will do

  • Provide first-line oversight of SIPP Trustee operational activities, ensuring controls and governance for risk and compliance.
  • Collaborate with stakeholders to assess and monitor key SIPP processes like benefits, contributions, and transfers.
  • Identify, assess, and record SIPP Trustee risks; maintain management information.
  • Conduct root cause analysis of exceptions and trends to drive improvements.
  • Track actions, monitor market and regulatory changes, and contribute to process enhancements.
  • Lead and develop the team, managing resources for timely oversight activities.

Requirements

  • Proven experience leading and developing teams in financial services.
  • CISI Investment Operations Certificate (IOC).
  • Proactive communicator at all levels with excellent organisational skills and attention to detail.
  • Strong problem-solving, decision-making, planning, and time management.
  • Timely escalation skills.
