What you will do

• Serve as technical subject matter expert on BESS and microgrid solutions for internal teams and external clients.
• Assist in pre-sales activities, explaining benefits and creating budgetary quotations.
• Design BESS and microgrid solutions for won bids and coordinate equipment procurement.
• Acquire firmware/software settings and ensure proper adjustment during installation.
• Guide system installation, setup, commissioning, operation, and maintenance.
• Support internal product development and research for new market solutions.

Requirements

• Bachelor’s degree in Electrical Engineering, Electro-Mechanical Engineering, Computer Science, or related field.
• 8-10 years of experience in microgrid, power, or industrial controls engineering.
• Deep hands-on experience with PLC programming (Codesys preferred), SCADA systems, HMI development, industrial networking, and protocols.
• Strong understanding of power system behavior and grid interconnection concepts.
• Ability to author control diagrams and philosophies for power control systems.
• Strong analytical, problem-solving, organization, and communication skills.

Nice to have

• Experience with distributed energy resources like BESS, solar arrays, diesel/natural gas generators.
• Experience with grid forming inverters, microgrid controllers, and power plant controllers.
• Prior work interfacing with utilities or ISOs.
