TL;DR

Benefits Manager (Total Rewards): Administer and improve U.S. health, welfare, and retirement programs across Americas with an accent on operational execution, compliance, and vendor management. Focus on ensuring regulatory adherence, resolving escalated issues, and supporting benefits coordination in Canada and Mexico.

Location: St. Louis, MO, US (hybrid and remote work practices where feasible)

Salary: $105,000 - $145,000 annually

What you will do

  • Administer U.S. health & welfare plans including medical, dental, vision, life, disability, and wellbeing.
  • Partner with vendors and brokers for service delivery and issue resolution.
  • Ensure compliance with ERISA, ACA, HIPAA, COBRA, and related regulations.
  • Support 401(k) operations, audits, and retirement plan coordination.
  • Assist HR in Canada and Mexico with benefits renewals, updates, and vendor alignment.
  • Prepare communications, enrollment materials, and guidance for employees and managers.
  • Improve processes with HR, HRIS, and vendors for efficiency and data quality.
  • Provide analytical insights for program evaluation and enhancements.

Requirements

  • Bachelor’s degree in HR, Business, Finance, or related field.
  • 7+ years of experience in U.S. benefits, including health/welfare and retirement programs.
  • Strong knowledge of ERISA, ACA, HIPAA, COBRA, and other U.S. compliance requirements.
  • Strong vendor-management and analytical skills.
  • Excellent communication skills to simplify complex benefits information.
  • Comfort working independently and partnering with Director on priorities.

  • Experience supporting benefits in Canada/Mexico.
