What you will do
- Implement physical design from RTL to GDS for custom IP and SoC designs.
- Conduct synthesis, place and route, clock tree synthesis, floor planning, static timing analysis, power/clock distribution, reliability, and power/noise analysis.
- Perform verification and signoff including formal equivalence, timing, reliability, power integrity, layout, electrical rule checking, and structural checks.
- Analyze results, recommend fixes for violations, and optimize for power, frequency, and area.
- Develop and improve physical design methodologies and flow automation.
Requirements
- US work authorization required (no sponsorship mentioned)
- Master's in Electrical/Computer Engineering, Computer Science, or STEM + 6+ years experience OR Bachelor's + 9+ years.
- 6+ years with APR tools (Synopsys or Cadence).
- 6+ years with static timing analysis (STA).
- 6+ years with TCL, Python, or Perl programming.
Nice to have
- Experience in all aspects of physical design using Synopsys or Cadence tools.
- Strong background in synthesis, place and route, tapeout flows.
- Expertise in timing signoff, formal verification, low power static signoff.
- Excellent communication, teamwork, problem-solving skills.
