What you will do
- Safeguard firm assets and reputation by controlling and supporting the asset management division in compliance with policies and global financial regulations
- Review quarterly/monthly valuations and NAVs for private equity and hedge funds, year-end financial statements, and related activities
- Support fund launch and liquidation processes
- Handle corporate, regulatory, and management reporting for funds
- Collaborate closely with business teams, product services, operations, IT, trading divisions, fund administrators, and auditors
Requirements
- 4-7 years of related experience
- Bachelor's Degree in Accounting (Master's preferred)
- Prefer CA with experience in alternative investments/private funds and process management
- Knowledge of financial statements preparation/review, USGAAP, IFRS, and coordination with Big 4 firms during audits
- Industry knowledge, strong accounting of financial products (e.g., interest rate swaps, credit default swaps, currency options)
- Strong analytical skills, detail-oriented, MS Office (Word, Excel), team player, multitasking, excellent communication skills
