What you will do

• Conceive and apply product design expertise to solve complex problems, preparing concepts, designs, and feasibility studies.
• Draft and execute development plans aligned with product group timelines, ensuring NPI and APQP processes are completed.
• Lead development teams, interacting with system teams, plants, suppliers, and purchasing to meet commitments.
• Plan and coordinate product testing, supplier evaluations, and production readiness reviews.
• Perform advanced troubleshooting and analysis to resolve development/field issues and improve performance/cost.
• Stay current with industry trends and new technologies through continuous learning.

Requirements

• Bachelor’s degree in Electrical or Mechanical Engineering (Master’s preferred) with product development and project leadership experience.
• Excellent analytical, problem-solving, and technical leadership skills.
• Strong communication for technical updates, reviews, and collaboration across teams and geographies.
• Knowledge of electronics engineering for designing, testing, and manufacturing circuits/components.
• Project management to plan, organize, and control resources for objectives.
• Reliability management using tools/metrics for hardware performance.

Nice to have

• Mechanical engineering knowledge for machines/devices.
• Supplier management for effective business relationships.
