What you will do

• Build, modify, and debug prototypes, wiring harnesses, and circuit boards.
• Perform complex diagnostics and root-cause analysis on electrical and electronic systems.
• Develop and maintain automated test setups and validation procedures.
• Conduct electrical testing and data analysis using oscilloscopes, spectrum analyzers, and data acquisition systems.
• Review schematics and technical drawings to ensure accurate implementation.
• Mentor junior technicians and drive lab best practices.

Requirements

• Associate degree or technical diploma in Electrical Engineering Technology or related field (Bachelor's preferred).
• 5+ years of hands-on experience in electrical or electronics engineering support roles.
• Strong knowledge of electrical circuits, analog and digital electronics, and components.
• Proficiency in reading and interpreting schematics and wiring diagrams.
• Expertise with electronic test equipment such as multimeters, function generators, and logic analyzers.
• Must be based in or able to work onsite in Needham, MA.

Nice to have

• Experience with PCB assembly, soldering, and rework, including surface-mount components.
• Proficiency with CAD or schematic tools such as Altium, KiCad, or AutoCAD Electrical.
• Familiarity with embedded systems or microcontrollers.
• Experience with Python-based test scripting or automated data acquisition.
