What you will do

• Design, develop, and refine automated systems and robotic equipment for advanced manufacturing.
• Collaborate with cross-functional controls, mechanical, and electrical teams to implement engineering concepts.
• Prototype and iterate on mechanisms, assemblies, and tooling to improve performance and throughput.
• Identify opportunities to automate processes and reduce bottlenecks through continuous improvement initiatives.
• Support equipment commissioning, system troubleshooting, and optimization on the production floor.
• Work hands-on with emerging technologies and cutting-edge automation platforms.

Requirements

• Degree in Mechanical Engineering, Mechatronics, Automation Engineering, or a related field.
• Proficiency in SOLIDWORKS and 3D CAD.
• Experience with robotics, motion systems, or automated machinery (industrial robots, conveyors, actuators, PLC-driven systems).
• Experience with Mastercam.
• Creative engineering mindset with the ability to turn concepts into robust solutions.
• Must be based on-site in Gorham, Maine.
