What you will do

• Develop and maintain labor standards and wage incentive plans through time studies, motion and ergonomics evaluations.
• Analyze and optimize staffing levels based on production volume, fluctuations, and plant capacity.
• Perform job and work analyses to evaluate responsibilities, physical demands, skills, and conditions.
• Partner with Engineering and Production on efficiency studies, capital justifications, plant layout, and process improvements.
• Apply Lean, Six Sigma, and MOST methodologies to support continuous improvement.
• Assist with labor relations, grievances, and arbitration in union environments.

Requirements

• Bachelor’s degree in Engineering; Master’s in related field a plus.
• Two or more years of experience in manufacturing, partnering with engineering and maintenance teams.
• Experience with industrial engineering principles: time studies, labor standards, staffing analysis, continuous improvement.
• Background in unionized manufacturing environments beneficial, including labor standards and relations.
