TL;DR

Student (Engineering): Performing technical tasks on-site, including marshalling, refueling, and aircraft maintenance with an accent on hands-on experience and technical skills development. Focus on assisting aircraft technicians and maintaining hangar organization.

Location: Internship is in Moose Jaw, Canada and will be carried out in person.

What you will do

• Marshall, park, and secure aircraft.
• Tow and start aircraft, and assist with pilot strap-in.
• Refuel and defuel aircraft.
• Operate light special purpose vehicles.
• Wash aircraft and clean canopies.
• Maintain Hangar 5S (garbage removal, cleaning floors, tool boards, etc.).
• Assist Aircraft Technicians in heavy maintenance and shops.

Requirements

• Must be a student in the process of obtaining a diploma.
• Pursuing a college/undergraduate degree.
• Must be legally entitled to work in Canada and meet the requirements of the Canadian Controlled Goods Program (CGP).
• Provide a copy of passport or birth certificate.
• Students with a work permit must provide a copy of it and a police clearance certificate from countries where they have resided in the past five years.
