What you will do

• Partner with front, middle and back office stakeholders to understand current processes, pain points and constraints.
• Facilitate workshops to challenge existing ways of working and define forward-thinking future state.
• Act as bridge between business and technology teams, ensuring business needs drive delivery.
• Define business and technology requirements for market data handling including feeds, trader marks and valuation inputs.
• Prioritise and coordinate market data initiatives to shape coherent future state.
• Identify opportunities for operating model evolution enabled by technology, data, automation or AI.

Requirements

• Several years of experience as Business Analyst in commodities or energy trading sector.
• Strong understanding of market data flows: EOD prices, real-time feeds, curve building, valuation inputs, trader marks.
• Proven experience analysing and redesigning business processes in complex, cross-functional global environments.
• Ability to collaborate, challenge assumptions and build alignment with stakeholders.
• Experience with technology-enabled change including automation and AI.
• Excellent communication and facilitation skills to translate business needs into actionable technology solutions.

Nice to have

• Understanding of market data integration into CTRMs, risk engines and analytics platforms.
• Experience with third-party market data tools and platforms.
• Contributions to operating model or target architecture design.
• Shaping AI strategy or embedding AI into business processes.
